This year Mothers Day celebration is my first time. First time because I’ve been a mommy for seven months now with my baby Iris. Since it’s my first time I want it to celebrate in my own simple way. Actually we just go out for Dinner at Mang Inasal. Before that we hang out at Quantum Arcade, that was Iris first time arcade. I tagged along with me my Auntie because she’s been very supportive and like a mother to me. This is my only way to let her feel I value all her effort for taking good care of me when I was pregnant. Also for loving my daughter. This is also my bonding time with my little sister Kiana. She love’s arcade games and rides and keep on bugging me but most of the time I say no due to financial constraint. Iris needs first before anything else. So, last mothers day is also a wish granted for Kiana.

On books, I rarely buy brand new. The best books, albeit secondhand, are at Booksale. Prices so drop.dead.cheap you'd want to buy the whole bookstore LOL.
I get all of my kids' books there. We have a whole library of secondhand books as it's always been a philosophy of mine to buy them at least one book for each of them every month.

I have learned to buy second hand books for my little daughter. The first books I bought her were all brand new and she just tore it apart.
